2. Adipocyte-Brain Crosstalk Symposium

From March 14 to March 15, 2019, the DFG-funded GRK 1957 from the University of Lübeck will present you the 2nd Adipocyte Brain Crosstalk Symposium.

With great pleasure, we invite everyone who is working or interested in the interdisciplinary field of communication between adipose tissue and brain and its effects on energy homeostasis.

During the symposium, international experts will address this crosstalk by talking about the connection between circadian clocks and energy metabolism, brown adipose tissue as the right kind of fat, novel targets in obesity and the role of the neurovascular unit in obesity. The scientific program is completed by talks of young researcher, a poster session and a get together to discuss topics and network within the field.

The 2nd ABC Symposium has been endorsed by the European Society of Endocrinology who has also provided financial support through an ESE Small Meeting Grant.
