The GRK students Beate Herrmann and Kornelia Johann have both received the 2017 Travel Award of the Young Active Research in Endocrinology (YARE - http://www.endokrinologie.net/yare-preise.php) section of the German Endocrine Society (DGE). Beate has won 740€ and will be travelling to the ESC Cardiology conference in Barcelona in August 2017. Kornelia received 1000€, which she will use for a lab exchange with Dr Amy Warner at the Disease Model Core Unit of the University of Cambridge.
