GRK1957 students Beate Herrmann and Lisbeth Harder have both received a 400€ travel grant from the German Society for Endocrinology (DGE) to present their work at the upcoming annual meeting of the European Thyroid Association (ETA) in Copenhagen, September 3-6, 2016.
Beate Herrmann will present her work on "The role of the murine thyroid hormone transporters Mct8 and Oatp1c1 in the cardiovascular and thermoregulatory systems" and Lisbeth Harder will show data on "The Differential Effects of Thyroid Hormone on Cortical and Hypothalamic Parvalbumin Neurons in Mice".
