"Adipocyte-Brain Crosstalk Symposium" 2017

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the first "Adipocyte-Brain Crosstalk Symposium" in Lübeck, 3-4 March 2017. The Symposium is organized by PhD and MD students of the DFG funded Research Training Group 1957 "Adipocyte-Brain Crosstalk" and will be held in the new research building for the Center of Brain, Behavior and Metabolism (CBBM) at the University of Lübeck.

We invite especially young researchers to present their work in the interdisciplinary field of communication between adipose tissue and brain and its effects on energy homeostasis. During our symposium international experts will address the central control of energy balance, the connection between circadian clocks and energy metabolism, and epigenetic mechanisms contributing to metabolic diseases. The scientific program is completed by talks of young researchers and a poster session with get-together.

We look forward to welcoming you in Lübeck.
