In the framework of RISE (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) 2018, our GRK1957 doctoral researcher Sherif Idriss successfully recruited a bachelor student Amanda Jass from Canada.

Amanda studies Biology at the University of York, Canada. Under the supervision of Sherif, she will be working on the project "The role of HIF-1α in astrocyte metabolism" from May to August 2018.
